Before I went to bed last night I was saddened by the news of the death of Farrah Fawcett, one of the celebrity I grew up with watching my favorite TV series, The Charlie’s Angels. I can’t help but follow closely the news event via twitter and other news site for more information although we knew she was stricken with cancer for quite some time now.
But what surprise me was this morning when I woke up to check my twitter feed, reading the breaking news, “RIP, Michael Jackson“. At first I thought it was a sick joke, but later realised it was not. Another iconic star that I grew up with, has passed on. He was the guy who brought my interest to music, music videos and grammy awards. I still remember vividly how mesmerized I was watching the “Beat It” and Thriller” music video and those videos are really ahead of their time. Finally I guess he really rest in peace in his wonderland.
