My first attempt on HDR or simply known as High Dynamic Range. If you are interested but do not know where to begin, follow this link and you might pick up a tip or two.
For stater, I used a software call photomatix. It is available on a Mac or Windows version but I guess when comes to post processing Mac blows Windows away. But that is another story for another time. Once I converted the raw files(s) and did the tone mapping, a final touch up in Photoshop was needed ie. doing some softening to reduce the noise, curve, some dodge and burn, etc. I kinda like the final result and can’t help it but make a large 24×16 print.
In time I hope to share more tips here as I go along the learning process. Remember Art is never finished, only abandoned. You always learn new things and those photos taken a long time ago which did not interest you at first, might spring into a new life with the different post processing techniques you learn along the way.
